The views from the apartment are absolutely stunning! Waking up to that sea view every morning felt like a dream. the room was spacious, with comfy beds and a nice little kitchen setup. Sasha, the host, was super friendly and made the stay even better!

The kitchen and bathroom could really use an update, but that’s just my opinion.

The weather was bad and it seemed a bit damp and because we were in the room a lot it felt a bit cramped. Would have been perfect if the weather was right. A bit dated

The Retreat was my first stay after the long flight and drive to Paihia. Jan welcomed me and showed me to my cottage and brought some of her special tea as a welcome gift. Yes, the furniture is a bit dated but everything is very clean and comfortable and the kitchen well stocked. The view from the deck is to die for and the peace and tranquility ideal for the beginning of a vacation. Easy walk down to the bay and lots of tips from Jan and Kevin where to walk and what to do.

The room we had was a nice size and quiet with a view, and the staff was outstandingly accommodating. The hotel's location was perfect and peaceful, right on the ocean. This place was just what we were looking for.

Thoroughly enjoyed attractive and quiet apartment with a view, felt like we were home. The location was stunning to bus stop on day of departure. Besides, an outdoor adventure park was 3 km away from the property.
